WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?
The purpose of this guide is to show parents/guardians how they can sign up to receive Weekly Progress Report emails in their Parent Portal account. The Weekly Progress Report sends on the users selected day and time and provides a snapshot at the student's gradebook scores and number of missing assignments.
The Weekly Progress Report is sent via ParentSquare, so we recommend adding donotreply*@parentsquare.com to your contacts list in your email to help ensure you receive the notifications.
For parents/guardians with multiple students, this must be enabled for each student that you want to receive a Weekly Progress Report for. To change which student or school you are viewing in Parent Portal, see How to Change Students and Schools in Parent Portal.
Step 1: Login to Parent Portal account.
Go to my.iusd.org and login to your Parent Portal account.
Step 2: Click on your email address in the upper right hand corner. Then, click on Parent Notification Preferences from the drop down menu.
Step 3: Check the box next to "Receive Weekly Progress Email". Then, select the day of the week and time you want to receive the email. Click Save.
