WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?

This article will show students how to access Littera Education through Clever, how to join a session, and helpful tips and tricks.

Step 1: Navigate to Clever

• Open the Chrome browser and go to clever.com/in/irvineusd
• Click Log in with Microsoft Entra

Step 2: Sign into Clever

The student will log in using their regular IUSD username (@iusd.org).

Step 3: sign into IUSD PortaL

Login using your IUSD username and Password

Step 4: Select Littera Education App

Look under the Instant Login Applications category and click on Littera Education.

Step 5: Joining a Session

On the Dashboard, your next session appears in the orange box on the left side of the screen.  Click Join Now.

The first time a student joins a session, they are required to grant access to the camera and microphone on the device.  Click Next at the bottom of the screen (students may need to scroll down to see this).

Please also make sure that the speaker selected is the headset and not the device. Click Next at the bottom of the screen. Once your camera, microphone and speaker is set up, click I'm Ready (students may need to scroll down to see this).

Your tutor will appear on the right side of your screen, once the session has started. 

Helpful tips & Tricks

AUDIO/VIDEO ISSUES? Please do not close the class.

Try refreshing the browser page, or click More Tools and select Connection Refresh.

Make sure that the camera and microphone within Littera is toggled on.

MINIMUM SCREEN SIZE MESSAGES? Please do not close the class.

If a student receives the following error message, users will still be connected to the classroom audio and the tutor can help guide the student to make their window larger if need by holding the [CTRL] control key and press/tap the [-] minus key or the [+] key to zoom in and out until the error is removed.
