This tutorial is intended to show users how to search their site’s catalog in guest mode by lexile range. Users who wish to save some of the book titles to a list will need to login to their Destiny account. (See the linked tutorial at the end of this document.)

STEP 1: LOGIN 

Go to https://destiny.iusd.org. Choose your site from the district list. Sign in as a site user. In this example, the user is from College Park Elementary School.

Click on the school name and you will see the Destiny Homepage for this site. Look to the top right of the page to click on the site login.

STEP 2:

From the Destiny homepage for this site, click on the “Catalog” tab at the top of the screen. 

STEP 3:

Under the “Basic” search tab, and in the reading program dropdown, please change the default “unlimited “ to Lexile and set the desired lexile range (highlighted). To include non-fiction and fiction titles, leave the search box open and click on “Subject” (red box).

STEP 4:

The results will show both non-fiction and fiction titles that are at that library (subject to availability) within that lexile range. In this case there are 1,915 titles and the search can be refined.
