WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?

This tutorial outlines the steps parents would take to create a Parent Dashboard account. A Blocksi Parent Dashboard account allows parents to block websites that they do not want their children to access while using an IUSD-issued device at home.

Note: Parent Dashboard settings will only be effective outside of instructional hours of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, regardless of whether the student is on campus or at home.

Step 1:  Register for a Parent Account

• Visit https://parent.blocksi.net/ 
• Click Register here

• You will then be directed to the page below. Enter your information and select Create account. (For security reasons, please use the same parent email address on file with your school site)

Step 2: Account Validation

• After you've filled out the information, you should see the verification page.

• In your email, you should see a message from Blocksi to verify your Parent Dashboard email. Select Click to Verify

• Once your email has been verified, a school administrator will need to validate the Blocksi Parent Dashboard account associated with your email address. You can send an email to helpdesk@iusd.org and let us know that you're requesting a parent account. Please allow 24-48 hours for approval.

Step 3: Open Your Blocksi Parent Account

• If your account has been approved, you will receive an email from Blocksi that confirms your account access has been granted. Select the Go to Dashboard button to open the Blocksi Parent Dashboard login page.

• Enter your Blocksi Parent account email address and password. Select Log in. 
  • If you signed up for the Blocksi Parent Dashboard by using the Sign up with Google option, you may select Sign in with Google.

You are now logged in to your Blocksi Parent Dashboard account.
