- If test instructions were included, select Overall Instructions to view those at any time during the test.
- Select Finish Later to save progress and pause the test, to be resumed later.
- Use the question navigation buttons to jump to a specific question or range of questions. Questions that are grouped together as a range all share one passage to reference, and are listed together. The navigation button for the question or range currently being viewed will be highlighted in green.
- Use the Back and Next buttons to navigate backwards and forwards between questions one at a time, in order.
Step 4: Assessment Tools
- More universal testing tools appear in the top bar of the test. If enabled, a countdown timer appears in the left corner, indicating how much time is left before the test closes. If enabled, the menus for Text-to-Speech Audio, Text Translation, and Screen Color Contrast will appear on the right side of the top bar. The Fullscreen option is available on all tests, and can be toggled on or off.
- For tests containing linked passages, Text-to-Speech options will appear in the passage header, as enabled.
- Question tools can include Text-to-Speech options, the Question Flag, the Answer Eliminator, and the Notes feature, as enabled.
- When the passage or question text is selected, the selected text tools menu will appear. Available tools can include the Highlighter, Underline, Dictionary, Picture Dictionary, Translator, and the Comment option, as enabled.
- General tools appear at the bottom of the page, and can include the Calculator, Graph, Periodic Table, Protractor, Line Reader, Text Magnifier, and Ruler, as enabled.
Note: For any questions about whether any of these tools are available for your assessment, please reach out to your teacher.

- After reaching the last question of a test, the Next button will change to the Finish Test button. Selecting this button will take students to the summary page.
