WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?

This guide will provide the steps on how students can install the Respondus Lockdown Browser application on their personal devices in order to take a SchoolCity lockdown assessment.

• Windows
• MAC OS X 

Note: For any students that want to opt out of installing the Respondus Lockdown Browser application on their personal devices, you will need access to an IUSD Chromebook device in order to take your SchoolCity lockdown assessment.

WINDOWS 

• Click here to download the Respondus Lockdown Browser application for Windows
• Locate and open the Respondus LockDown Browser installer

• Choose English (United States) in the Setup Language and click Next to start the installation process

• You will get a confirmation once the Respondus LockDown Browser application has been installed successfully. Click Finish

• Login to SchoolCity to take your lockdown assessment: How to Take a Test in SchoolCity with the Secure Browser

MAC OS X 

• Click here to download the Respondus Lockdown Browser application for Mac OS X
• Locate and open the Respondus LockDown Browser installer. Click Allow to run the installer

• Leave the default settings and click Continue twice

• Click Install to start the installation process

• You will get a confirmation once the Respondus LockDown Browser application has been installed successfully. Click Close
