WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?

This tutorial demonstrates how to login to MackinVia as a student through the URL https://iusd.mackinvia.com to access eBooks.

This URL is also a widget on each site’s Destiny homepage: https://iusd.org/Destiny, choose your site and click on the graphic for MackinVia. 

Step 1: Log in 

Go to https://iusd.mackinvia.com and enter your IUSD email address. (If you have not used IUSD email, this is your IUSD login with @iusd.org at the end, for example: 25lastnamefirstname@iusd.org.)  Click next. 

Enter your district password and then click “Next”. 

Step 2: Searching for an ebook

On the home page, you can search for a title or author in the search box or click on the ComicsPlus to access the database of graphic novels and comics. On this page, you will also see ebook covers and as you mouse over them, you will have the option to open or check out.

Step 3: Viewing Categories

If you click on “Categories” on the left, you will be able to browse titles by a category. 

Step 4: Finding Audiobooks

If you click on “Audiobooks” on the left, you will be able to browse audiobook titles.
