Accessing iusd.org bookmarks
What is the purpose of this tutorial?
In an effort to facilitate quicker accessibility to the most common websites used on a daily basis in
IUSD, we have added them as bookmark shortcuts through the Chrome web browser.
This tutorial is for users on Windows laptops or desktops. Chromebooks will automatically have the bookmark folder available in the Chrome web browser.
Step 1: Open Google Chrome
Log in to the computer and click on Chrome.
Step 2: Log in to Chrome
In the top right-hand corner of the browser, click on the user button and click on Turn on Sync.
Step 3: Log in to Chrome
Login using your IUSD email and password.
Step 4: Linking Data
After you log in with your IUSD account, you will receive a pop-up notification about linking your Chrome data with your IUSD account.
- Click Continue.
The next pop-up notification will allow you to change the data that you will sync to your Chrome profile. The default setting is to sync everything.
- Click Yes, I'm in.
- In the top left-hand corner, you should now see the iusd.org bookmarks folder.
If you do not see the iusd.org bookmarks folder, it may be hidden. Follow the steps in this guide to make it visible.
