WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?

This tutorial will show users how to login to MackinVia to access eBooks. This URL is also a widget on each site’s Destiny homepage: just choose your school site and click on the graphic for MackinVia. 

Step 1: Navigate to MackinVia

Go to https://iusd.mackinvia.com and enter your IUSD credentials to sign in with Google.

Step 2: Browse ebooks 

On the home page, you can search for a title or author in the search box. On this page, you will also see ebook covers and as you mouse over them, you will have the option to open the ebook, or check it out.

Step 3: Browse by category 

If you click on “Categories” on the left, you will be able to browse titles by category.

Step 4: Search using filters

If you click on “All Resources” on the left, you will be able to use filters to narrow down your choices.
