WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?
This tutorial will go over the steps on how to access McGraw-Hill Actively via Canvas.
Important Items to Note:
You will need to be logged in to a student Canvas account. Observer accounts do not have access to the digital content.
McGraw-Hill's recommended web broswer is Google Chrome. If you are using an iPhone or iPad, download the Chrome browser to access McGraw-Hill.
Step 1: Log in to Canvas
- Navigate to Canvas via http://iusd.org/canvas
- Enter your IUSD credentials
Step 2: Access McGraw-Hill
- Select your Canvas course.
- If you do not see your class listed, please contact your teacher for assistance.
- Click McGraw-Hill from your course navigation menu
- Troubleshooting tip: If you click on McGraw-Hill and a blank screen comes up or it doesn't take you to a new page, you may have pop-ups blocked on your browser. To enable pop-ups, see this tutorial for allowing pop-ups: Google Chrome: Allowing Pop-ups - Student
Step 3: Select Actively from your Dashboard
- Click on the McGraw-Hill Actively textbook
Step 4: Actively Home Dashboard
- You have arrived to your Actively home dashboard where you have access to your assignments, grades and other items.
