WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS TUTORIAL?

Using the Canva LTI 1.3 integration in Canvas allows students to launch Canva in a secure external window directly from their course, providing a focused space to create and edit designs while remaining connected to Canvas. Students can access Canva’s intuitive design tools and templates without needing to log in separately, making it easy to complete creative assignments. 

Step 1: Select the Assignment

• Select Assignments from the course navigation menu on the left.
• Choose the assignment you would like to upload.

Step 2:  Open the Assignment in a New Window

• Under Choose a submission type, select More and select the option for Canva for Education.

Step 3: Select Design in Canva

• Ensure your IUSD email address is correct.
• Click Continue.

Step 4: Submit Assignment

• When you have completed your assignment click Submit to Canvas.

• Click Submit.

• Click Go to Canvas.

• Your assignment will now be submitted in Canvas.
