WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS RESOURCE GUIDE?

This resource guide aims to provide students with information on navigating their Google Classroom Dashboard.

Home

• The Due soon section allows you to see any classwork, assignments, or quizzes that are about to be due.
• The Class learning tools section allows you to see Gems and Notebooks posted by your teachers in Google Classroom. Note: Gemini is only available for high school students at this time. NotebookLM is available for middle and high school students.
• The Classes section will allow you to see all of the classes that you are enrolled in in Google Classroom

Calendar

• This page allows you to view classwork and event deadlines in Google Classroom

Gemini

• This page allows students with Gemini access to use Gemini directly inside Google Classroom via a dedicated tab.
  • Study Tools: Turn assignments into quizzes, flashcards, study guides, and audio overviews.
  • Contextual Prompts: Auto-populates assignment details and curriculum content into Gemini.
  • Quick Access: Hover over "Due Soon" tasks to launch tailored study help instantly.
• Note: Gemini is currently for high school students and select Middle Schools, while Gemini Notebook is available for both middle and high school students.

• This page allows you to view any upcoming assignments in your classes

Classes

• You can click on the specific class that you would like to go into

Archived Classes

• This is where you can see all your archived classes in Google Classroom

Settings

• This page allows you to enable or disable specific default settings in your Google Classroom
